Ingredients
- Water - 4 cups
- Almonds - 1 cup
- Salt - 0.25 tsp
Directions
Step 1
Soak the almonds in water for at least 8 hours or overnight.
Step 2
Drain and rinse the almonds.
Step 3
In a blender, combine almonds and fresh water; blend on high until smooth.
Step 4
Strain through a nut-milk bag or cheesecloth into a bowl.
Step 5
Transfer the milk to a jar, refrigerate, and serve chilled. Use within 3–4 days.
Cook's Notes
Save the leftover almond pulp to add to smoothies or baked goods.
