This North American classic starts by simmering chicken and aromatics in broth, then adding carrots, celery, and egg noodles until perfectly tender. Finished with a sprinkle of parsley, it’s a timeless cozy meal.

Ingredients
- Chicken Breast - 500 g
- Water - 2000 ml
- Lemon - 1 tbsp
- Pasta - 150 g
- Parsley - 2 tbsp
- Onion - 1 piece
- Carrots - 2 pieces
- Pepper - 1 to taste
- Sea Salt - 1 to taste
- Green Beans - 2 stalks
Directions
Step 1
In a large pot, combine 500 g chicken breast, 1 diced onion, 2 sliced carrots, 2 sliced celery stalks, and 8 cups (2000 ml) water or chicken broth; bring to a boil.
Step 2
Reduce heat and simmer 15 min until chicken is cooked.
Step 3
Remove chicken; shred and set aside.
Step 4
Add 150 g egg noodles (use pasta ID) and cook 8 min.
Step 5
Return shredded chicken; stir in 1 tbsp lemon juice, salt & pepper to taste.
Step 6
Garnish with 2 tbsp chopped parsley and serve hot.
