Pan-Fried Tofu
Golden-crisp tofu cubes, seasoned and pan-fried to perfection.
This simple tofu dish features cubes of tofu tossed in soy sauce and cornstarch, then pan-fried until crispy—ideal as a main or side.

Ingredients
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Cornstarch - 1 tbsp
- Vegetable Oil - 2 tbsp
- Green Onions - 2 stalks
- Tofu - 400 g
- Soy Sauce - 2 tbsp
- Sesame Oil - 1 tsp
Directions
Step 1
Drain and pat dry 400 g tofu; cut into 2 cm cubes.
Step 2
In a bowl, toss tofu with 2 tbsp soy sauce and 1 tbsp cornstarch.
Step 3
Heat 2 tbsp vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add tofu cubes in one layer.
Step 4
Cook 3–4 min per side until golden and crisp.
Step 5
Add 2 cloves minced garlic and 2 stalks chopped green onions; sauté 1 min.
Step 6
Drizzle 1 tsp sesame oil, toss, and serve hot.
Cook's Notes
Ensure tofu is very dry before coating to achieve maximum crispiness.
